Exemption from Customs Taxes for Food, Cleanliness and Medicines in Shipments to Cuba

January 17, 2024

Changes in regulations

As you probably know, in recent months some changes have been made to shipping regulations to The Island.

From now on, shipments of food, hygiene products and medicines that are sent by air, sea or mail and that do not have a commercial purpose will be exempt from paying customs taxes.

You can send up to 200 points or 20 kg and there are no shipping limits per person.

Shipments can be mixed or independent, but must only contain food, hygiene products and medicines.

Example: You can make a shipment of 20 kg of food, another of 20 kg of hygiene products and a third of 20 kg of medicines. You also have the option of sending mixed shipments that contain these three types of merchandise.
